Every day it seems like the Jets somehow find a way to be in the media. Today is no different. A 20 man brawl broke out during practice in Cortland, NY. It was initiated when safety D’Anton Lynn shoved RB Joe McKnight to the sidelines during a basic screen pass. McKnight retaliated by throwing the ball at Lynn and then proceeded to charge at him. It only took seconds before the rest of the offensive and defensive units got involved.

Fights are actually not as rare as you would think during practices. However, this particular fight was extremely close to fans and reporters. Rex Ryan was forced to pull his guys out of the pile, and he obviously wasn’t happy. The Jets really need to get it together as quickly as possible. Their first preseason game is this Friday against the Cincinnati Bengals.
