Our Initial Thoughts of the Madden 19 Arizona Cardinals Offensive Playbook :
3 TE 1WR Scheme:
Single back Wing Tight, Single back Wing Pair, and Single back Wing Tight Z all have solid passing plays for those players who like that Jumbo play style.
3WR 1RB Scheme:
Shotgun Bunch Str – This formation remains a strong formation year after year since the play Y trail has the ability to be ran so many different ways. You combine this with PA Bunch shot and Verticals and Bench Pivot your opponent will have to account for all three receivers as well as the tight end and no zone will take away all of the routes so it really puts stress on the opponents user
Shotgun Flip Trips – Another blast from the past, this formation once again returns as one of the favorites due mostly to the play Deep Fork. In combination with Slot Trail, Deep Curls, WR Cross and FL Drive you have the ability to attack with 5 routes at all times. This formation is a complete headache for opponents who like to sit in coverage defenses all day long and wait for you to make a mistake because not getting pressure on this formation can lead to wide open players all over the field.
Split Close – Still a really good formation with a lot of potential. The negative now however is that its a 3 WR 2 RB and not this same personnel group anymore =(
Shotgun Tight – Will once again be able to dominate with the ability to mix in Zona Post, Zona Z Spot, Quick Hook and PA Zona Cross.
2 TE 2WR Scheme:
Single back Wing Stack – Seems to be a go-to in most formations because of the dominate passing plays, this book does have something most others don’t and that is the play PA Y-Drag Wheel. This play has the glitchy crossing route that zones simply don’t guard and man to man stands no chance to guard it which requires a user to manually go chase it. This opens up the rest of the passing scheme with Flanker Spot, Curl Post Drag, PA Dig, Under, PA Power O, Four Verticals, Cards Smash and PA Fork. HB Belly Weak combined with HB Dive and HB Zone Wk will keep the defense honest.
